This piece aims to capture the duality of life, man and the heavens.
The composition is a perspective drawing. If seen from from below, the angel can be seen as a saviour, stretching out his hand to guide and help you. If seen from above, the angel can be seen as a fallen seraph, raising his hand in a cry for help. The name is a word play capturing Faith’s descent to help humanity or Faith’s litteral descent of fallen angels.
This was a risk and challenge to make, having to draw most of it on live cameras on TVM in a very limited ammount of time, filming your every mistake but happy that I pushed myself to do it.
The finished piece will be on display at my upcoming solo exhibition this November in Mosta. More details soon.
